Blank pages displayed when accessing e2a email records in Sales Cloud Console


 

Scenario:

 

A user tried to access the e2a email records related to Lead & Opportunity via the e2a email related list in Sales Cloud Console. Instead of the email detail page, a blank page was displayed.

 

Findings:

 

The email detail page of the e2a email client is a Visualforce. A feature called Clickjack Protection when enabled causes the Visualforce pages to display blank in Console mode. 

 

 

Steps to disable Clickjack Protection:

 

Please follow the steps below to disable Clickjack Protection in Salesforce:

  1. Go to setup  Security Controls  Session Settings
  2. Disable each of the following settings
  • Enable clickjack protection for customer Visualforce pages with standard headers
  • Enable clickjack protection for customer Visualforce pages with headers disabled
