Setting up Default Unmatched Email Owner of an e2a Email record
How can I assign owners to newly created e2a Unmatched Email records?
From e2a v3.4943, now while setting up an e2a email rule, you have the flexibility of choosing the 'Default Unmatched Email Owner' for e2a Unmatched Email records. Previously, only relevant queues could be selected to get assigned as the owner of newly created e2a unmatched email records. Now, you can choose between these two options:
- Queue: Selecting this will lead you to select a queue from an adjacent dropdown showing available queues.
- First User to Match via From or To Email Addresses: With this option, 'e2a Unmatched Email' record will be assigned to the first active user matching either the 'From' or 'To' email addresses, with precedence given to the 'From' address. If no user matches through the email addresses then it is assigned to the fall back queue which you can select next to this dropdown.
