e2a User Settings
Description
User Settings provide the ability to specify default email and client settings for the current user. Users can setup their settings for e2a Email client under the ‘e2a User Settings’ tab.
- The value in Alternate Email Display Name must match either the current user’s first and last name or the email name specified in My Email Settings. Specifying any other value will result in the wrong from-address display name on outgoing emails
- The value in Alternate Email Address must match either the current user’s email address or the email address specified in My Email Settings. Specifying any other value will result in the wrong email from-address on outgoing emails
- Sender BCC Default determines whether the option to BCC current user by default will be checked or not on the email client page
- User Signature determines whether current user’s email signature (set within ‘My Email Settings’) will be appended to emails sent from the e2a email client. Therefore enabling this option will append the user’s email signature to all emails, and this occurs after the Send button is pressed in the email client. And disabling this option will ensure that no email signature is appended to emails
- Email Format determines the type of text editor displayed by default in the email client page for the current user. Select HTML to default to HTML formatting and Text-Only to default to text only formatting
- Default From-Address determines the email from-address, if any, selected by default on the email client page for the current user. Choose the organization wide email address you want to be selected by default as from-address on the email client page
- Default Business Unit determines the business unit, if any, selected by default on the email client page for the current user. Choose the business unit you want to be selected by default on the email client page or choose None if a default is not required.
- Default Template Folder determines the default email template folder while selecting the templates in email client using Select Template button
- Default New Email Template determines what will be the default Email Template used by the email editor for all New emails
- Default Reply Email Template determines what will be the the default Email Template used by the email editor when Replying the emails
- Default Forward Email Template determines what will be the the default Email Template used by the email editor when Forwarding the emails
